Ft. Leonard Wood Military, Families to Receive Free Christmas Trees

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — Fort Leonard Wood military and family will get their choice of a free live Christmas tree this weekend.

The public affairs office of Fort Leonard Wood said the trees will be available for pick up from Friday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 4th.

Active duty service members and their families can choose their Christmas conifers at the Fort Leonard Wood Automotive Skills Center ( located on Nebraska Ave) during the hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Valid identification and sign-in are required.

The limit is one tree per family and chosen trees must be taken home immediately. Trees will not be held later for a later date.

Any remaining trees will be available to other authorized patrons on the following Monday, December 5th.
