FDA Approves Cannabis-Based Drug

WASHINGTON, D.C. — For the first time, FDA officials have approved a cannabis-based drug.

It’s approved for treating two types of epileptic seizures.

The FDA says it can be used in patients as young as 2 years old.

The FDA has approved synthetic versions of some cannabinoid chemicals found in the marijuana plant for other purposes, including cancer pain relief.

Later tonight, we’re taking you back to Buffalo, where a store that sells CBD was shut down after city officials revoked its license.

The fate of that store is on the line during a meeting tonight, we’ll have the reaction to the decision on KOLZ at 9, and right here at 10 p.m.
