FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –  The Federal Bureau of Investigation released documents that reveal Best Buy’s Geek Squad’s assisted in a child pornography case.

A Best Buy Geek Squad in Fort Smith, located at 6201 Rogers Ave., received a computer for repair in 2008 with a hard drive that contained images of child pornography, according to FBI documents.

The store sent the hard drive to a Kentucky Best Buy store for data recovery.

The documents revealed that the Geek Squad in Kentucky viewed the images and sent the hard drive to the Louisville office of the FBI for evidence.
