Endangered Person Advisory CANCELLED: Man Found Safe

MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — UPDATE: Steele has been found safe as of 8/30/18 at 3:15 p.m.

The McDonald County Sheriff’s Department issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a man who went missing in Pineville, Missouri, three days ago.

According to a news release, the missing man is 43-year-old Shannon J. Steele. He is described as a 5-foot-8 white male and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and several tattoos. He may be wearing a gray T-shirt, dark blue shorts and black sandals. 

Steele is known to have seizures and left his home, at 3321 Goff Ridge Rd., on foot without his medication, according to the release.
