SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The last available tiny home at Eden Village is now occupied.
A homeless person just moved into the last home Tuesday afternoon.
Eden Villages offers shelter at a reduced cost for people struggling in Northeast Springfield.
In less than a year, all 31 homes now have someone living in them.
One of Eden Village’s main goals is to have no one sleeping outside.
The organization is hoping to expand into a five-acre lot on West Division to build more tiny homes.
The City Council will decide whether or not to approve the rezoning on May 6.
