“Dinosaur Duck” Fossil Recovered in France

FRANCE — Take a look at this newly discovered dinosaur.

The image was created after examination of a fossil recovered from a dealer’s shop in France.
Scientists believe this duck-like dino is a relative of the velociraptor.

The fossil was originally stolen by poachers in Mongolia where it was unearthed. The fossil stayed on the black market for years.

The dino’s long neck and paddle-like arms suggest it spent a lot of time in the water. Scientists say the creature lived about 75 million years ago.
