Deadline Approaches to Request Absentee Ballots

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Any voters needing to request an absentee ballot by mail have one more day left to do so.

All requests must be signed by the voter and received in the county clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31.

The ballot’s must be voted, notarized and returned by mail to the clerk’s office before 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 6. The deadline for casting an absentee ballot in person is 5 p.m. on the day before the Election, November 5.

Greene County has also extended absentee voting hours for eligible voters who are not able to go to their regular polling place on November 6. The extended hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Friday, November 2 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 3. Eligible voters can also vote absentee from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, November 5. These vote can be made at the County Clerk’s office at 1126 North Boonville in the Archives/Elections Center building
