Crews Rescue Man From KC Trench

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo.  Emergency crews rescued a construction worker from a trench in Blue Springs Monday afternoon. 

The Central Jackson County Fire Chief says the worker was injured after getting hit with a piece of equipment.

Crews worked for several hours to rescue him. He was atleast 10 feet below ground.  

He was reportedly conscious and talking when he was pulled from the trench and taken to the hospital.
