BRANSON, Mo. – The Women’s Center at Cox Medical Center Branson just wrapped up a major expansion project.
The expansion is something the hospital has been eyeing since 2008.
In addition to providing mammograms, ultrasounds and bone density tests, the center now provides a comprehensive pelvic wellness program.
Nurse practitioner Kelli Gosch says the new services should make office visits more convenient for patients going forward.
“A lot of women have actually chosen to go to up to Springfield for sometime,” Gosch says, “because we really didn’t have that service line available to them.”
“Our vision was to expand gynecological services to the area,” she says. “We wanted to give ladies that opportunity to have all of their screening in one visit.”
The expansion was made possible by the Skaggs Foundation.
