Fl. — Convoy of Hope has been busy the past month helping hurricane Florence victims in the Carolinas.
While those efforts are still going on out east, another group is heading to Florida for hurricane Michael’s aftermath.
Members of Convoy carry a heavy load going from one disaster to the next, but they know people in worse situations are in need of their support.
“You set in your mind that ‘I’m supposed to do what I’m doing,'” Jeff Nene, Convoy of Hope’s spokesperson said. “And there’s a reason I’m doing that. And that’s in order to be kind, and to help people, and to love on people that are really hurting right now. I think that’s what really charges our batteries.”
