SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield city officials are hoping you’ll renew a tax that helps pay for roads, bridges and sidewalks.
The one-fourth cent capital improvement sales tax is up for renewal on April 2.
The tax has been funding work for 30 years and a vote for it won’t increase what you pay — it will just keep the tax in place.
Recent projects include the widening of Republic Road and improving intersections across the city.
