Circus Kicks Off at JQH

News

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The festivities began tonight at JQH Arena, as the circus kicked off its first performance.

From acrobats to tightropes and exotic animals, the George Carden Circus has a full slate of fun scheduled throughout the weekend.

This year, the Circus is donating $1 from every ticket sold to Springfield Police and Fire Departments to help support them and their needs.

Here’s what a few kids had to say about tonight’s big show!

“I’m pretty excited it’s always fun when you come to the circus,” Masyn Reynolds said.

“You get to see all the animals that you really like that you don’t really get to see in the wild,” Ty Kramer said.

“The people and all the food here. It’s so good,” Makynzee Reynolds said.

“That’s really awesome that I can’t believe this that my heads about to explode,” Gabe Culver said.

The final show will be on Sunday afternoon at 1:30.
