KANSAS CITY, Ks. — Police say the death of a 12-year-old boy at a water park in Kansas was an accident.
The boy died riding the Verruckt water slide on Sunday, that’s billed as the world’s tallest.
The slide is located at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City.
It sends riders into an almost 170-foot drop, reaching the speeds of more than 60-miles-an-hour.
Police are still investigating what exactly went wrong.
The park will be closed the rest of the day today (Sunday) And tomorrow (Monday).
