CBS Fires Steve Chaggaris Due to “Inappropriate Behavior”

News

NEW YORK — CBS has fired its political director Steve Chaggaris.

CBS describes the reason behind his termination as “inappropriate behavior.”

The station adds there have been accumulating accounts of this behavior over two weeks.

It says that behavior violated company policy.

A replacement for Chaggaris has not been announced.

This comes six weeks after CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose was fired over allegations of sexual misconduct.
