BRANSON, Mo. – Branson aldermen approve a formal budget for tourism marketing in 2018, including some holdover funds from last year.
This resolution is part of the city’s contract renewal with the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB.
Prior to approval, Chamber CEO Jeff Seifried fielded a question regarding a reduced line item for social media marketing and outreach, as to whether these efforts are being supported by other funding sources, including the TCED.
The marketing budget shows $2.4 million for TV advertising, and a line item for creative services totaling more than $472,000.
