Bolivar Fire Chief to Shave Iconic Mustache

News

BOLIVAR, Mo- Residents of Polk County have spoken.

Bolivar City Fire Chief James Ludden’s mustache is going away.

In strong opposition, over $3,700 were raised for the chief to shave it, instead of save it.

You’ll remember this story from the end of August after Chief Ludden chose to raise money for the Keeling Foundation which helps kids in the area participate in extra-curricular activities.

It was announced Monday on Facebook that a total $4,300 were raised.

Two lucky elementary kids will be shaving the stache today on Facebook Live at 4 p.m. before taking a ride in the fire truck.
