DIXON, Mo. — City leaders in Dixon, Missouri have issued a boil advisory for residents.
A spokeswoman with the police department says although an advisory has been issued, there’s no immediate threat to the public.
A water line broke at 2nd and Walnut today, and as a precaution, crews shut off the water, and warn bacteria could get into the line.
However, crews are working right now to restore water pressure to residents, who may not have any running water at the moment.
Again, this is just an advisory, not a boil warning.
The water will be tested for bacteria in the future.
