Beagle Almost Climbs Out of Cage Waiting for Adoption

News

WRIGHT COUNTY, Va. — It’s a pretty safe assumption that dogs would rather be roaming free than caged and Buttermilk proves that.

This sweet little Beagle decided to make a break for it at the Wright County Animal Shelter in Virginia.

Buttermilk gingerly climbed to the top of her four-foot cage before perching on top.

But, she was busted by the staff.

The good news is Buttermilk was awaiting her adoptive family to pick her up Friday.

So, her new owner will have to know she’s a climber.
