BATES COUNTY, Mo. – The Bates County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of a company that has been soliciting the public for money for magnets advertising the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office stated in a Facebook post that the company, calling themselves Five Fish, was not authorized to pursue this advertising project.
The sheriff’s office recommended that anyone receiving these calls should simply hang up.
