Attorney General Josh Hawley Wins Senate Race Against Sen. Claire McCaskill


SPRINGFIELD, Mo- Attorney General Josh Hawley has won the Senate race against Senator Claire McCaskill. 

With all precincts reporting Hawley received 51 percent of the vote to McCaskill’s 45 percent. The other 4 percent was split between third-party candidates.

Hawley made the announcement Tuesday night at his watch party at the University Plaza Hotel in Springfield.

Republic National Committee Spokesperson Whitney Smith said this about Hawley’s victory, “Congratulations to Senator-elect Josh Hawley on a hard fought victory. Missourians from across the state will finally have a Senator who believes they are all worth the fight, who represents their values with every vote he takes and stands firm in his beliefs.”
