Apparent Accidental Shooting Leaves Man Dead


BRANSON, Mo. – According to a City of Branson media alert, a man has died after an apparent accidental shooting.

Around 8:30 p.m. Friday night, City of Branson police officers were called to the 500 block of College to investigate a shooting.

When the police arrived, they found 19-year-old Richard Alvarez the Fourth.

Despite their efforts, paramedics and emergency rescue personnel were unsuccessful in reviving the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Taney County coroner.

The incident is currently under investigation and KOLR10 News will provide more information as we get it.
