Alleged Police Impersonator Arrested in Branson

BRANSON, Mo- The Branson Police Department is asking for information after arresting a person who may have recently impersonated a police officer or U.S. Marshal, in the Branson area.

The person in the investigation is in custody, but Branson investigators wish to interview citizens who may have witnessed this type of activity or may have been contacted by this suspect.

If you have been stopped by a smaller red vehicle with emergency equipment recently, please contact the Branson Police Department at (417) 334-3300 and ask for Detective Joe Edwards.

“The Branson Police Department takes this type of criminal activity seriously and would appreciate any and all information regarding this situation to help keep Branson a safe place for those who live, work and play here,” the department said in a press release.
