U.S. – A short-term rental company is trying to help put some cash in the pockets of federal furloughed workers.

Airbnb announced Wednesday that any federal executive branch employee who hosts an experience or three nights in their home will get an extra $110 in fees.

This deal is being offered through March 18th.

Airbnb cites a study from the Washington Post that says St. Louis and Kansas City have some of the nation’s highest numbers of federal workers affected by the shutdown.
