6th Annual Lake Life Expo Held

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Lake enthusiasts had a chance to dream of warmer temperatures at the 6th annual Lake Life Expo on Saturday.

Held at the Springfield Expo Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., people were able to come out and check out the latest in watercraft, lake toys and home decor. Tickets were $10 a person – with children 17 and under getting in for free. Kids could even have fun with free trout fishing.

Organizers say almost $9 million worth of boats were on display. Show manager Brian Wright says this is a great place for those interested in buying a boat to get a good look at all the options.

“Great place to research,” Wright said. “You’re able to get in the boats, compare the boats all in one place. All kinds of price points, We have jet skis to aluminum fishing boats all the way up to tri-toons, even a 36-foot cobalt cruiser that’s about a half a million dollar boat.”

The show will be open again Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
