3 Men Charged with Child Molestation in Separate Cases

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. — The Phelps County Sheriff’s Department charged three men for molesting minors, according to three news releases from the department.

Dennis Keeney, 70, of Rolla was arrested after he was seen having sexual intercourse with a 5-year-old child.

Keeney has been charged with four counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree. 

Deputies arrested 70-year-old Earnest Dobbs of Newburg.

Dobbs reportedly had sex with a 10-year-old and the child reported it to an adult.

Dobbs has been charged with statutory rape in the first degree and first degree statutory sodomy.

Terry Putman, 54, of Caseyville, Illinois was arrested after deputies received complaints of Putman having sexual contact with an 11-year-old.

He is charged with first-degree statutory sodomy and child molestation.

All three bonds are set at $500,000.
