FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Two suspects were arrested in a Fayetteville methamphetamine bust on Thursday, police say.

The Fayetteville Police Department said it arrested Michael Sartin, 53, and Tammera Clark, 54, both of Fayetteville and seized drugs, guns and cash in the process.

Both were booked into the Washington County Detention Center and face charges of trafficking of a controlled substance, possession with the purpose to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Over the last two months, the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force has been investigating a local drug trafficking organization.

During the investigation, police said they made controlled buys from two suspects who were selling large amounts of meth in Northwest Arkansas.

After getting two search warrants for Fayetteville residences, police seized four pounds of meth, 26 guns, body armor and $11,107, authorities said.
