1 Man Arrested, 1 Man on Run Following Sunday Morning Dallas County Murder

DALLAS COUNTY, Mo — The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has 1 man in custody following the murders of a couple from Tunas, Missouri. Authorities say another 22-year-old man is still on the loose. 

After a 4 day manhunt, Jeffrey Dale Lee Stevenson was arrested and charged with the 2nd-degree murders of Joe and Brandy Allen.

Stevenson sits currently in the Camden County jail without bond, while authorities continue the search for his accomplice, 22-year-old, Billy Sage Medley.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office says the two men broke into the Tunas, Missouri home of Joe and Brandy Allen on Sunday morning. A gunfight broke out when the homeowners interrupted the robbery.

That’s when authorities say Stevenson and Medley shot and killed the couple before driving away in the victim’s Chevy Silverado.
