Springfield sends 10 complaints to the BBB for COVID-19 scams


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Better Business Bureau says to be on the lookout for online COVID-19 related scams.

The BBB says its received 10 complaints here in Springfield.

Most of the scams involve buying masks getting your stimulus check or money for unemployment.

The average amount of money people are losing is about $80.

Ages 35 to 54 have been the most susceptible to these scams.
