Carrie Winchel is the Digital Content Manager for Ozarks First, the digital outlet for KOLR 10, and Ozarks Fox in Springfield, Missouri. She has been working in broadcast television news for 15 years. Prior to holding the position of Digital Content Manager, Carrie was the Assistant News Director for KOLR 10 and Ozarks Fox. Carrie, a graduate of Ozark High School and Missouri State University, has also worked at the Nexstar-owned station in Nashville, Tennessee, WKRN.
Work on ozarksfirst.com that Carrie is proud of includes the overview of the Cassidy Rainwater investigation, and extensive coverage of the February 2022 winter storm.
