Bailey Strohl

Bailey Strohl joined the OzarksFirst team as a reporter in December of 2019. A native of Jefferson City, Missouri, Bailey found her passion for storytelling while attending Blair Oaks High School and would later graduate from Missouri State University. Her first step into journalism began in 2016, delivering hourly newscasts, weather, and traffic reports at Springfield’s KTTS radio.

You’ll typically see Bailey live on location covering daily current events for the 5 pm and 6 pm newscasts. She’s also recently begun to hone her abilities in the studio as OzarksFirst’s weekend anchor. Bailey takes the utmost pride in her coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cassidy Rainwater’s disappearance, and several criminal and civil court cases heard in the Ozarks.

When not out gathering community stories, you can usually find Bailey soaking up everything the Ozarks has to offer. Her passion for learning about our local history continues to grow as she studies old photos, architecture, and literature about how the Queen City became what it is today.
