High pressure remains overhead today and will drift further northeast tonight. This will allow for more moisture to pull in and cause increasing cloud cover. Rain will be heaviest in Oklahoma and central Arkansas but the Ozarks will get clipped. Best chances for rain will be from Joplin to Branson to Mountain Home.

Today will be a carbon copy day of yesterday. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s. Cloud cover will also be scarce. Later tonight we will see increasing clouds from west to east. Best chances for rain will be from Joplin to Branson but Springfield could see some rain.

The rest of the week looks great with highs in the 80s.
