Beautiful today! Showers return tomorrow ---
The low pressure that brought us rain Sunday and clouds Monday is still stalled to our southeast. The last few clouds left from that low exit this morning. We'll have a lull of beautiful weather today before another upper-level low-pressure center swings through the Ozarks.
Today will be beautiful! Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs make it to the upper 60's east, lower 70's west. High 73 degrees in Springfield, finally April-like!
Tonight clouds increase ahead of our next system. Lows only fall to either side of 50 degrees.
Tomorrow will be dreary. An upper-level low-pressure center tracks through the Ozarks. That will bring cool, cloudy, and damp conditions with rounds of a few showers. Rain will be light, only expecting about 0.25" in the bucket, at most 0.5".
Highs will be cool with the cloud cover, struggling for 60 degrees.
Showers linger overnight but clear by Thursday morning. Thursday will be another nice lull of sunshine, highs in the upper 60's.
A weak front passes overnight Thursday into Friday morning with a few showers. Rain accumulations will again be light. A few showers could linger Friday morning but I expect Friday afternoon to be nice, mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60's.
This weekend looks gorgeous... finally!
A ridge, or warming pattern in the upper-levels of the atmosphere, starts to set up. That will bring us ample sunshine and warming temperatures!
Sunshine and middle 70's Saturday, sunshine and upper 70's Sunday! The beautiful weather continues Monday, mostly sunny, breezy south wind, highs near 80 degrees.
