The front will push south of Hwy. 60 by Friday. This will lead to mostly sunny and dry conditions for most areas near and north of Hwy. 60. A few showers and thunderstorms will remain possible south of the front across Northern Arkansas Friday afternoon. The activity doesn't look like it will be too widespread though, with no disturbances passing through to enhance it.
The pattern remains fairly active through Monday morning. Episodes of showers and thunderstorms will be possible, focused around the overnight and morning hours. With the front settling further south and southwest than earlier expected, this may tend to focus the rain further southwest as well. Sunday looks like the drier and hotter day of the two with highs up around 90. A more widespread round of rain and thunderstorms will arrive with a front Monday morning. Drier and less humid conditions will follow the front through the middle of next week. Another front and round of rain looks to move through by Friday.
