Ozark Police Seize Vehicle in Connection to Fatal Hit and Run

OZARK, Mo. – Ozark Police believe they have seized the vehicle related to a hit and run resulting in the death of 18-year-old Timothy Sparks.

According to a news release, Ozark Police officers served a search warrant at an Ozark residence Wednesday afternoon.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers found evidence and a vehicle believed to be connected to the deadly hit and run on the Fourth of July.

Police say they were able to obtain the search warrant as a result of information received from the public.

According to Ozark Police, no other information is available at this time.

On July 4, Sparks was riding his bike on Highway NN, east of N. 2nd St., before midnight when he was struck by a vehicle and killed.
