HARRISON, Ark. -- Authorities arrest a suspect in the death of an elderly shop owner, during a traffic stop Friday afternoon in Boone County, Arkansas.

Sheriff Mike Moore tells KOLR10 News deputies spotted a green conversion van around 4 p.m. Friday in Bergman.  That van appeared in a surveillance photo shortly after the death of the Ozark Emporium Owner Adah Lorraine Carte.

Deputies, the sheriff and the chief of Bergman police made a traffic stop, then took the suspect into custody.

Authorities were first called about 7 p.m. Thursday to check on a store on at Bear Creek Springs, just north of Harrison.
They found 75-year-old Carte dead at that time.

Sheriff Moore says the motive for the crime is still being investigated.
