EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. -- According to CBS-affiliate KCTV, Ramy Demboski was found safe with her biological mother.
The Excelsior Springs Police Department says there has been a custody dispute involving the girl between the child's parents.
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. -- Excelsior Springs police are looking for a 3-year-old they say might have been taken from her father’s home Wednesday afternoon. An Amber Alert has now been issued.
The child is identified as Ramy Demboski. She is described as blonde and last seen wearing a white shirt, flannel shorts and black flip-flops.
The Kansas City Star reports around 4 p.m. a woman arrived at Ramy’s father’s home and said she was having vehicle problems. She was allowed inside, used the restroom, was given some water and used the phone. After she left residents discovered Ramy was missing.
Some other children said she was in the car with the stranger.
Police have not been able to contact Ramy’s biological mother. Ramy’s parents are said to be involved in a custody battle but police are reported to be concerned about the child’s safety.

AMBER ALERT. The Excelsior Springs Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert for a child abduction that occurred at 116 Persimmon Dr, Excelsior Springs, Missouri at 3:20 pm on August 27. Abducted was Ramy Angeline Demboski. Suspect vehicle is a blue or grey Dodge Charger or Challenger bearing unknown Nebraska registration. The suspect is believed to be a black female no further description available. Anyone seeing the victim, suspect or vehicle or anyone having any information related to the abduction should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement or call the Excelsior Springs Police Department at 816-630-2000.
