According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jessica L. Farris, 28, of Ash Grove, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield after the car she was driving hit a utility patrol.

Farris was eastbound on Hwy 160 when the car she was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, traveled off the left side of the road, overturned and slammed into a utility pole.

The woman was trapped in the wreckage while authorities were making their way on-scene, but managed to talk to bystanders.

She was then freed from the wreckage and airlifted. Her last known condition was serious, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
