SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- There will not be a wing shortage in Springfield today, but there might be one tomorrow! About 30 of the areas best restaurants are competing this year to win over the hearts of the judges and the public when it comes to the best tasting hot-wing.

This year’s Wing-A-Palooza is the Sertoma Club’s 13th annual presentation of the event. Sponsors and community support make the festival one of southwest Missouri’s largest fundraisers for children.

The event features live music by a few of the area’s popular bands and it also of course features wings! Both boneless and traditional chicken wings are available at Wing-A-Palooza, in about every flavor you might want.

Wing-A-Palooza runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today at the Springfield Expo Center. Admission is $15 at the door and gets you access to all the wings you can eat, there will also be a wing eating contest with a $10 entry fee.

You can find more details on the event on the Wing-A-Palooza Facebook Page or on the event's website
