Week Two High School Football Poll

The Missouri state high school football poll for week two is out.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Week Two of the high school football season will kick off Friday night across the Ozarks.

The lastest state high school rankings were released Tuesday and a number of Ozark area teams are represented in the poll.

The Mountain Grove Panthers walked into Rogersville last Friday night and shut out the Wildcats 38-0.

It's the second straight year that the Panthers have beaten Rogersville in the season opener.

Mountain Grove moves up two spots in the Class Three poll to number three in the state right behind Mountain View Liberty who they host on October fourth.

Lets take a look at the polls starting with Class 5.

Lee's Summit West is number one, Camdenton at five, Ozark is eight, that's our team of the week on Friday, then Lebanon enters the poll at ten.

In Class 4, Webb City is number one, Bolivar four and Hillcrest is nine.

In Class 3, Maryville is one, Reeds Spring six and Cassville is eighth.

In Class 2, Lamar is one, then Mountain View Liberty, Mountain Grove and Strafford.

In Class 1, Hamilton is tops, Thayer is fourth.
