SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Talk about a graduation gift! Micah Horsh, a senior at Central High School, won a new car Monday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Talk about a graduation gift! Micah Horsh, a senior at Central High School, won a new car Monday.

There was no catch to winning the prize -- only showing up to the Project Graduation party. The drug and alcohol-free event has been a tradition in Springfield for 24 years.

Horsh was one of five semi-finalists from each high school selected to win the Chevy Spark from Reliable Chevrolet.

"I'm pretty excited," he said (full interview above). "I didn't know I was going to win it." It's quite an upgrade from his 1994 Honda Accord. He'll be going to Missouri S&T in Rolla this fall. "It matches the school colors."

On Tuesday, there will be another drawing among high school students who had at least 95 percent attendance during the last school year. Those with 100 percent attendance are entered twice.

Tuesday's drawing will be at the Youngblood dealership.
