UPDATE:Man Found Dead Knew Murder Suspects

The Stone Co. Sheriff's Department said Dan Martin, the deceased, had been romantically involved with one of the suspects.
GALENA, Mo. – The Stone Co. Circuit Court arraigned two suspects, charging them both with felonies for armed criminal action and the murder of 28-year-old Dan Martin.

A group of hikers found Martin, a resident of Lampe, Mo., dead in Table Rock Lake over the weekend. Sheriff Doug Rader launched a search for suspects once his investigators and the Missouri Highway Patrol ruled the death as suspicious.

The investigation led to the arrest of Justin Tuttle, a 29-year-old man from Lampe, and 19-year-old Annmarie Patrick from Kimberling City.

The sheriff confirmed that Martin knew both of them, and that he was romantically involved with Patrick.

But Rader stressed that his office was still waiting on an autopsy and not willing to release a motive as of the arraignment.

“At this time we are still missing the victim's truck," Rader said. "And it has been entered as stolen. Right now we have a helicopter in the air checking the air for that truck. The highway patrol brought in sonar units and checked numerous locations around the lake we thought the truck may be. We did not discover it in the lake.”
