NEW DETAILS: Man Barricaded in House Found Deceased

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield Police have identified the man as Paul B. Lee, 30, of Springfield. The man reportedly barricaded himself in a house. Police later released a statement that they found him deceased in the home.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield police have released the name of the man who barricaded himself in a home on E. Cherokee. The man is identified as Paul B. Lee, 30, of Springfield. 



SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- According to a statement from Springfield police, the man who barricaded himself in a home on E. Cherokee overnight was found dead in the home around 5:30 a.m. Thursday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

More information will be released as it becomes available.



SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man wanted with felony warrants has reportedly barricaded himself in a house at 1032 E. Cherokee, where Springfield police are trying to coax him out.

According to Springfield Police Department spokeswoman, Lisa Cox, at 7:46 p.m. last night (Oct. 23), police responded to the residence where a male with felony warrants was hiding after fleeing from police.

Other occupants at the came out of the home upon police request.

Cox says a Special Response Team and negotiators have been working to remove the man for several hours.

The name of the man has not been released.

More information will be available upon it's release by authorities.
