Each year the 5K run/walk is held rain, snow or shine and proceeds benefit the Developmental Center of the Ozarks and Springfield-Greene County Park Board’s Scholarship Fund. The event also serves as a food drive for Ozarks Food Harvest, canned goods can be donated on race day at the Springfield Expo Center.
