Two Dead in South Springfield Home

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield police have released new information in the discovery of two deceased people in a Springfield home.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The identities of two people whose deaths are still under investigation were released this morning.

Police have identified the two people as Stephanie Fajardo, 32, and her husband, Rudolph Fajardo, 35, both of Springfield.

Police report that around 5:38 a.m. on November 8th they responded to 2100 E. Norshire for a deceased persons call.

Autopsies are planned for today for both of the deceased persons. The investigation is still ongoing and the cause of the deaths have not been released at this time.

Springfield police are conducting a second death investigation this morning - this one involving two people in a house in south Springfield.

Police spokesperson Lisa Cox tells KOLR10 officers were called to the 2100 block of E. Norshire in the Ravenwood subdivision about 5:30 this morning, where the bodies of two people were found.

Cox did not provide details on the ages or gender of the people who died or whether police suspect natural causes, or foul play.

As of 10:00 am, investigators were waiting the arrival of the medical examiner's office to the scene.  Detectives have been at the house since before 9 a.m.

Neighbors say a man and wife and their four children lived in the home for about a year.  "It's a tragedy," says neighbor Sandy Bradford.  "It breaks my heart for the family and the children.  It's terrible."   Bradford says she would often see the mother and her children together and she appeared to have a very loving relationship with the children.

More information on this developing story will be posted here as it become available.
