That doesn't surprise me, in my opinion Allen did what he needed to do this season to keep his job. He won four of his last five games, was competitive this year and had a chance at making the FCS playoffs.

In eight seasons, Allen was 33 and 56 with only two winning years. Terry Allen's the football coach at a basketball school…it’s really that simple.

The camp that wants Terry Allen fired, also wants the Bears to move up to division 1A and join the sunbelt, conference USA, or even the Big 12.

That's not going to happen because a move to 1A would cost millions, and there is no money.

Moats tweeted that he wants athletic funds reinvested into moving the football program forward, not buying out the last year of Allen's contract or his staff.

To him it doesn't make financial sense to make a coaching change, there wasn't even an official news release. MSU said there was no announcement because there was no news, which speaks volumes.

Terry Allen's a decent man, he loves the university and gives his all for bears football, let him coach for another season, after all it's just football.
