FORSYTH, Mo. – A former Taney County jail employee accused of having sex with inmates on jail property has changed his plea from not guilty to guilty and has been ordered to perform community service and been placed on probation for five years.

According to sentencing documents from the Taney County Circuit Court, Corey M. Ridings pleaded guilty to two of four charges of sexual contact with an inmate originally filed against him. The other two charges were dismissed by Presiding Judge Mark Orr on Jan. 16.

Ridings already has completed the 100-hour requirement for community service, documents show, and must also submit to random urinalysis, not possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs, not have contact with the former inmates he is accused of having sex with, and must engage in counseling treatment as directed by the probation office.
