SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The yarn bombers are at it again, this time they will cover Sun Target, the yellow sculpture in front of the Springfield Art Museum.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The yarn bombers are at it again, this time they will cover Sun Target, the yellow sculpture in front of the Springfield Art Museum. The yarnXbombers have been knitting and crocheting for weeks to create items that they will sew together into a huge colorful sweater to cover the object.

To get involved you can bring your knitted or crocheted pieces to the installation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The items can be any size, shape, color, or design, but will not be returned.

The installation will be on exhibit until November 5th, then the pieces will be reused in other installation projects.

For updates on this project visit the S.A.M. Facebook and IdeaXfactory Facebook pages.
