Springfield Police Department Expands Crime Prevention Program

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—City Utilities of Springfield and the Springfield Police Department have created a joint effort in crime prevention with the "See Something? Say Something!" program.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—City Utilities of Springfield and the Springfield Police Department have created a joint effort in crime prevention with the "See Something? Say Something!" program. 

During the past several months City Utilities employees took part in an interactive training program that was provided by the Crime Prevention Unit of the Springfield Police Department.

The training program called “The Watch” is modeled after the neighborhood watch program, both highlight the importance of being aware of your surroundings and reporting any suspicious activities.
