Springfield National Plug In Day Celebrates Electric, Hybrid Vehicles

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Sunday, Sept. 29 is National Plug In Day, a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of the widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and to highlight the benefits of all-electric or plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Sunday, Sept. 29 is National Plug In Day, a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of the widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and to highlight the benefits of all-electric or plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.

A National Plug In Day event will take place in Springfield with live music, food, educational support and test drive/rides offered by local dealers and an assortment of privately owned Tesla’s, Leafs, Volts and various groups of hybrid vehicles.

Other entertainment will include an appearance by Star Wars characters and the Springfield Roller Derby girls. Electric toy cars will also be available for the kids.
