SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Springfield man has entered an Alford plea in a case against him for charges of rape in 2007.

Jamison Marquart, 27, is accused of raping two women in April 2007. Prosecutors say a third incident happened on March 7, 2008.

The bench trial of a Springfield man charged with raping three women is set for 9 a.m. Oct. 30 and 31.

Court documents relating to two of the alleged assaults indicate the victims told police they believe they were drugged and rendered unconscious before they were attacked.

An Alford Plea does not admit guilt, but concedes that there is enough evidence to get a conviction.

Marquart is charged with three counts of Forcible Rape and two counts of Forcible Sodomy.
